Case study 1
This project was supplied to a local builder in the Wisbech area who has used ‘stubbed’ type trusses which are fixed onto two supporting Glulam beams. This roof truss design is used to create a one and a half storey dwelling, commonly used when the wall plate to ceiling height exceeds the limitations of a ‘raised ceiling tie’ roof type truss.

Case study 2
This project was supplied to a self-build customer who has used Attic (room-in-the-roof) type trusses to create a chalet bungalow dwelling. These trusses are becoming increasingly popular with customers as they create extra habitable space in the roof area which otherwise could only be used as storage space; as land price is at a premium more customers are building upwards.
